Access Issues

We have had ongoing issues with access to certain academic databases and other resources like eBooks, articles, journals, and media from off-campus. These are the result of required changes to the way SEMO's Single-Sign-On (SSO) system interacts with the providers of these services.

We are working to fix these as quickly as possible.

If you have an SE Key (SEMO Login) and are having difficulty accessing any of Kent Library's online resources, please email us at kentsystems@semo.edu. Please provide as much detail as possible, such as the search terms used, title of the resource you are trying to view, and the exact error message or behavior that is occurring. Please provide screen captures if possible.

Family Friendly Study Room

Kent Library and Computer Services are pleased to offer a computer study room for student parents who need a place to work when accompanied by their children.

For access, please visit the Periodicals Desk on the main floor or the Computer Lab Assistant on the third floor.

Kent Krates

Check out a mystery box of library materials!

A Kent Krate is a themed box of library materials that has been selected just for you to unpack and enjoy twice a semester. It may include fiction and nonfiction items from our main collection, graphic novels, young adult books, children's books, DVDs, and video games. It is checked out for two weeks at a time and may be renewed twice. The theme changes each time Kent Krates are released. Your subscription will also include access to a themed virtual Kent Krate to accompany each physical Kent Krate. Virtual Kent Krates contain links to online library materials, including eBooks and streaming videos.
